Wellspring Health, Education And Cancer Research Foundation
Wellspring Health, Education and Cancer Research Foundation (“WHECRF” or “Foundation”) is a charitable organization working in medical education, healthcare, disease prevention, and research. Following the success of parent organization Shree GuruNanak Charitable Trust (SGCT), WHECRF was started to serve the healthcare needs of poor and June 15, 2012, marked the day of its foundation in India.
Since its inception, the Foundation has come a long way. Founded by only six members back in 2012, WHECRF now is associated with many other charitable organizations and more than 200 hospitals where the Foundation aids needy patients with financial as well as emotional support and care.

The Foundation is actively involved in many initiatives for the betterment of humankind, including:
Medical Education
WHECRF initiative for the advancement of medical education represents an intersection of medicine and technology and the future of healthcare. The Foundation has developed an application to help aspiring doctors prepare for medical exams like NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test-Under Graduate) and USMLE (United States Medical Licensing Examination). Another application for the collection of data about various diseases, statistical analysis of that data and development of cure is also active while one hospital management software is under active development.
Medical Research
WHECRF is primarily involved in Research in the field of Epidemiology, Microbiology, and Biochemistry backed by studies, medical statistics and analysis, and laboratory research. The Foundation works with the belief that “Epidemiological surveys are our best weapon to fight disease.” Medical Research in the field of Epidemiology always helps to find new ways for diagnosis, management, and cure of various diseases.
Medical Care
To ensure medical care for people with limited means and people living in remote areas, WHECRF organizes free healthcare and awareness camps to provide free medical care services and treatment, make people aware about preventive measures, and build a healthier society. The Foundation also provides financial help to needy patients in the associated hospitals across the country.
Career Counseling for Young Doctors
WHECRF provides free career counseling to young medical graduates to guide them on Postgraduation opportunities, placements, and healthcare jobs.
Other Welfare Activities
Besides the medical field, the Foundation is also engaged in the community work for Environmental Protection, Animal Rights Protection, Clean Water, and other welfare initiatives for a better world.
Lincoln American University with Wellspring Health, Education and Cancer Research Foundation
Association of Lincoln American University with WHECRF, which already has a strong network of 200+ hospitals, 10+ Nursing colleges, 400+ doctors, and footprints in 20+ countries, provides new avenues to the University students to get involved in the community and healthcare work, medical research and innovation that will promote a healthy lifestyle for all the University and Foundation members and the beneficiaries of the initiative i.e. the people.
The association also allows the University and the Foundation to work in synergy for mutual clinical research, students’ development, and betterment of healthcare for everyone. We encourage the students to take full advantage of this unique opportunity to level up their medical journey and continue to move forward on their mission to become an exceptional doctor.
