Lincoln American University is honored to be part of the extraordinary Holi celebration at the High Commission in Guyana. Our Vice-Chancellor, Air Marshal (Dr.) Pawan Kapoor (Retd.), and Mr. Salim Zaman, Director, had the privilege of celebrating this joyous occasion alongside distinguished dignitaries, including Brigadier (Ret’d) Mark Anthony Phillips, the Hon’ble Prime Minister of Guyana; Mohamed Irfaan Ali, President of Guyana; His Excellency Mr. Amit Telang, High Commissioner of India to Guyana; and Her Excellency Ms. Jane Caroline Miller, High Commissioner of the United Kingdom to Guyana.
The celebration testified to the spirit of unity, cultural exchange, and the strengthening of international relations. Holi, often referred to as the festival of colors, represents harmony, joy, and the victory of good over evil—principles that align closely with LAU’s dedication to diversity and global education.
