The third year students of Lincoln American University, recently began their new phase of learning with clinical rotations at the Max Healthcare, Saket. The students had participated at the Orientation Ceremony on 14th Dec 2022 at the hospital.
Dr Vanita Mittal, General Manager, Academics from Max Healthcare welcomed the students and congratulated them for coming so far in the search of their dreams. She further assured the students of plenty of opportunities as per their individual interests and aptitude, not only during their period of observation-ship but also even after that, as the hospital would soon be opening more care centers across India.
She later invited Vice Chancellor of Lincoln American University, Air Marshal Dr Pawan Kapoor, to further motivate and guide the students with his wise words. In his address to the students, he shared memories of his days in medical school as a student. He also shared his personal struggles during those days. He asked the students to study hard and get the most out of this golden opportunity of learning at such a reputed institution.
He said that seeing the university excel and earn a reputed name globally is his vision and that these students are responsible for making it come true. He urged the students to be in their best behavior during their period of observation-ship. He also guided the students with the right strategies towards acing the USMLE examination and started enrolling from right now.
The students then later introduced themselves to the faculties and shared their individual fields of interests and specialization they wish to pursue. Dr Mittal, announced to the students that as part of this program, the students would be grouped according to their shared interests.
These students would be completing the final part of their medical studies, that includes clinical rotation for the two years, where they would be practicing with and learning with the skilled professionals at Max Healthcare.
