Lincoln American University, School of Medicine (LAU) always nurtures bright ideas & encourage its students to do research and innovate in the field of medicine. Gladly, efforts are working. Recently, LAU arranged Research Exhibition in which students showcased their new researches & science projects that they were working on to make the world a better place.
In the exhibition, research projects on various topics were presented by the LAU students which resulted in a lot of discussions and deliberations.
The projects were judged by Air Marshal (Dr) Pawan Kapoor, AVSM, VSM, and BAR (Retd), Former Director General of Medical Services (IAF), Vice Chancellor, Colonel (Dr) Vivek Lal, Executive Dean and Dr. Wesley Torrington, Dean of Academics Affairs at LAU. Students were awarded and honored by Dr. Pawan Kapoor with a view to encouraging them to excel further and keep doing the good stuff!
Dr. Abdullah, Professor of Anatomy at LAU, told the students that it was a rare privilege to have made presentations in front of such highly qualified faculty whose presence and constructive criticism would not only guide them but also motivate the students to scale greater heights in the field of medical research. Dr. Kapoor appreciated the overall quality of the research projects and emphasized the importance of research in medical science. He also urged the students to make scientific publications in indexed journals which will be an additional factor in helping them to get residency of their choice in the USA after they clear USMLE Step 1 and USMLE Step 2.
Dr. Kapoor complimented Dr. Christopher and all other faculty members for the guidance being provided to the students in helping them to conduct research projects so early in their career.
LAU cultivates such bright ideas to profess more on the learning through experiments than just mugging up the data and always encourage its students to take up new challenges, understand the latest developments in the field of medicine, and imbibe the required skills in order to become successful doctors. This pragmatic approach of LAU will further simplify the concept-building for the students and broaden their horizon of understanding.
